Syd for Solen — the open-air festival taking place in Valbyparken in Copenhagen between August 08th and August 10th — has added two new artists to its rock-oriented final day’s line-up. They are:

Symphony X announces autumn European tour

Middletown, NJ-formed progressive power metal crew Symphony X will be touring Europe later this year, and their plans include a stop at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on September 19th.


Tickets for that show are set to go on sale at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, May 07th via Ticketmaster.dk for 315 DKK (+ fees), while more details can be found in the official Facebook event.


The full itinerary for the trek itself will be published shortly, and will be listed in our dates section once available.

The Halo Effect announces European tour in January & February

Swedish melodic death metal outfit The Halo Effect has unveiled a headlining European tour in early 2025, with Pain and Bloodred Hourglass set to provide support.


The itinerary for the trek, which is listed in full below, kicks off with a concert at Amager Bio in Copenhagen on January 16th, tickets for which cost 305 DKK (+ fees) and will be released for sale at 10:00 a.m. this Thursday, May 08th via Ticketmaster.dk.
